Spatio‐Spectral‐Temporal Imaging of Fast Transient Phenomena Using a Random Array of Pinholes
Fast transient phenomena such as light–matter interactions, rapid electrical discharge, light scattering in tissues, and biochemical reactions that generate light signatures can be studied using high‐speed cameras. Herein, a lensless, single camera shot,

The Modulated Grating Hologram [PDF]
A phase and amplitude, off-axis hologram has been synthesized from three computer-generated transmission masks, using a multiple-exposure holographic recording method.

Experimental demonstration of holographic three-dimensional light shaping using a Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm [PDF]
We use a three-dimensional Gerchberg–Saxton algorithm (Shabtay (2003) Opt. Commun. 226 33) to calculate the Fourier-space representation of physically realizable light beams with arbitrarily shaped three-dimensional intensity distributions.

Spatio-temporal scanning modality for synthesizing interferograms and digital holograms
We investigate the spatio-temporal scanning of a single-pixel row for building up synthetic interferograms or digital holograms, shifted each other of a desired phase step. This unusual recording modality exploits the object movement to synthesize interferograms with extended Field of View and improved noise contrast.

Synthesizing Incoherent Digital Holograms with Reduced Number of Projections [PDF]
We present a method of recording digital Fourier holograms under incoherent illumination, using a significantly reduced number of observed perspective projections and a digital prediction of the middle projections. The method is demonstrated experimentally.

Computer-generated holography with ordinary display
We propose a method of computer-generated holography (CGH) using incoherent light emitted from a mobile phone screen. In this method, we suppose a cascade of holograms in which the first hologram is a color image displayed on the mobile phone screen. The

Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces With Spatial Modulation: An Electromagnetic Perspective
Electromagnetic wave control using the concept of a reflecting surface is first studied as a near-field and a far-field problem. Using a secondary source present in a wireless communication environment, such as a backscatter tag, it is possible to ...
