Gm26550 Modulates Learning and Memory by Increasing IGF1 mRNA Expression and Stability in Nrf2−/− Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The present study shows that Nrf2 directly binds to the Gm26550 promoter, thereby activating Gm26550 transcription and increasing its expression. Mechanistically, Gm26550 promotes IGF1 expression by functionally antagonizing miR‐26a‐5p‐mediated repression and sequestering the RBP KHSRP, thereby enhancing hippocampal neuronal synaptic plasticity and ...

Toward Prostate Cancer Early Warning with a Self‐Powered Wearable Biosensing Platform Integrated with Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Current prostate cancer detection methods remain limited in non‐invasiveness and specificity, prompting interest in urinary biomarkers such as sarcosine. Here, we report a urine‐powered wearable platform for non‐invasive sarcosine detection as a proof‐of‐concept for decentralized early warning.

Safety and accuracy of cervical pedicle screw navigation using artificial intelligence-generated, MRI-based synthetic CT versus conventional CT

open access: yes
OBJECTIVE Pedicle screw placement in the cervical spine is a very demanding technique that may lead to critical complications due to the surrounding neurovascular structures. The aim of this investigator-initiated study was to test whether radiation-free,

Molecular Editing Reveals a Bilobalide Chemotype that Attenuates Prolyl Endopeptidase (PREP)‐Linked Neuroinflammation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Molecular editing of bilobalide uncovers BB56, a PREP‐engaging chemotype with enhanced anti‐inflammatory activity in microglia. Integrated CETSA‐MS, SAR, and pathway analyses link BB56 to attenuation of p38 MAPK/NF‐κB and NLRP3‐associated inflammatory signaling, highlighting bilobalide editing as a strategy for developing neuroinflammation‐modulating ...
