Microenvironmental Reprogramming by 3D Anisotropic Cardiac Extracellular Matrix Induces Nuclear Remodeling and Epigenetic Maturation of Chemically Induced Cardiomyocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

The ester hydrolytic and synthetic activities of X-prolyl dipeptidyl peptidase from Streptococcus thermophilus : a thesis presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Biochemistry at Massey University, New Zealand [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
X-prolyl dipeptidyl peptidase (EC 3.4.14.11), or PepX, is a dipeptidase found in most dairy lactic acid bacteria that hydrolyses N-terminal dipeptides from larger peptides where proline is the residue penultimate to the scissile bond.

Multi‐Responsive Dendrimer‐Hyaluronic Acid Hydrogel With Lubricating and Immunoregulatory Functions for Synergistic Osteoarthritis Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A hydrogel with dynamic cross‐links was formed by cross‐linking hyaluronic acid with curcumin‐preloaded, phenylboronic acid‐modified poly(amidoamine) dendrimers. This hydrogel exhibited excellent injectability and self‐healing ability, enabling controlled Cur release in response to low pH, high reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, or mechanical ...
