Zeolite films: a new synthetic approach

J. Mater. Chem. A, 2013
Dense, adhesive zeolitic films were made for the first time by combining chemical vapour deposition (CVD) and hydrothermal methods. This new method uses a CVD process to deposit dense amorphous silica or titanium doped silica films which are then converted to a crystalline nanoporous zeolite by a hydrothermal process using an organic structure ...

Thermodynamic properties of synthetic zeolite – Mordenite

Thermochimica Acta, 2020
Abstract The thermal behaviour of zeolites is of an important consideration for evaluating the consequences of temperature changes in geologic, experimental, and engineered systems. Calorimetric measurements have been carried out on a synthetic sample of mordenite having the composition Na1.51Al1.51Si10.49O24·4.60 H2O.

Structure of synthetic zeolite ZSM-5

Nature, 1978
ZEOLITE ZSM-5 (ref. 1) is a member of a new class of shape selective catalysts with unique channel structures which differ from the familiar large-pore faujasite and small-pore zeolites such as Linde Type A and erionite. They also possess unusual catalytic properties and have high thermal stability.

Structure of synthetic zeolite Na-P2

Acta Crystallographica Section C Crystal Structure Communications, 1990

Xenon adsorption in synthetic chabazite zeolites

Microporous and Mesoporous Materials, 2010
Abstract Xenon adsorption has been studied in different ion-exchanged forms of synthetic chabazite zeolites, K–, Ca–, Li–, Rb– and Cs–CHA, at low pressures and variable temperature. The xenon adsorption capacities vary with the nature of the exchanged cation in a way that is consistent with the known cation locations in the zeolite.

The structure of synthetic zeolite G

Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences, USSR Division of Chemical Science, 1965
The sodium ions in zeolite G are not located in the openings of the six-membered oxygen windows, but are shifted toward the center of the cubic octahedral cavities.

Electrical Conductivity of Synthetic Crystalline Zeolites

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1961
The electrical conductivity of anhydrous Linde zeolite types A, X, and Y in various cationic forms has been measured between 20 and 400°C. The conductivity is ohmic, essentially noncapacitive, and appears to be strictly ionic with unusually low activation energy.

Conversion ofsec-butylbenzene over synthetic zeolites

Applied Catalysis A: General, 1994
Abstract The title reaction has been studied on Y, MOR, ZSM-5 and partially dealuminated Y zeolites under standard conditions. The reaction turned out to be rather complex, involving many parallel and/or successive steps. In particular, the reactant can undergo dealkylation, isomerisation and disproportionation in various relative ratios, depending ...
