Maternal &Child Nutrition, EarlyView.Maternal brewer's yeast supplementation did not change the milk oligosaccharide (HMO) concentration, but more mothers felt their milk supply was increased, and fewer reported formula use by 6 months postpartum compared to those taking the placebo. This suggests the supplement may support breastfeeding, warranting further investigation in larger trials.

Restoration Ecology, EarlyView.Nutrient losses from forest soils caused by decades of acid deposition have affected tree growth and depleted soils of essential nutrients in eastern North America. Non‐industrial wood ash (NIWA) is rich in macronutrients and may be a potential remediation strategy to restore lost nutrients as a forest soil amendment.
