Wnt Activation in Mature Dermal Adipocytes Leads to Lipodystrophy and Skin Fibrosis via ATGL‐Dependent Lipolysis

We report the first tractable and reversible Wnt activation model in dermal adipocytes in mouse skin. Our findings demonstrate that sustained Wnt activation in mature dermal adipocytes leads to lipodystrophy, which is sufficient to induce skin fibrosis in vivo.
