Pomiar ATP-azy mitochondrialnej jako wskażnika stopnia rozkojarzenia mitochondriów mięśni zarażonych larwami T. spiralis and T. pseudospiralis [PDF]
Enzymatyczny test ATP-azowy polegający na pomiarze aktywności mitochondrialnej ATP-azy został wykorzystany do śledzenia zmian w metabolizmie bioenergetycznym mięśni szczurów lub myszy zarażonych eksperymentalnie larwami T. spiralis i T. pseudospira1is. W

\u3ci\u3eTrichinella pseudospiralis\u3c/i\u3e from a Wild Pig in Texas [PDF]
In December 2001, the routine inspection of a wild boar intended for human consumption revealed the presence of Trichinella ssp. larvae. Biological, morphological and genetic analyses demonstrated the parasite to be Trichinella pseudospiralis.

The study of cytograms of the marrow of mice with experimental T. spiralis and T. pseudospiralis invasion of 1 to 60 days revealed the marked activation of granulocytes and lymphoid cell proliferation with the much lower response of erythroid cells. The maximal response occurred at 21-35 days of invasion with subsequent diminution.

Susceptibility of nutria (Myocastor coypus) to Trichinella infection: biological aspects
Experimental infections with three different species of Trichinella in nutria in order to evaluate the susceptibility and the role of these rodents in the spreading of parasitosis in nature were carried out.

The structure and distribution of the sense organs of the head and the tail of two day-old Trichinella species (females) have been determined by transmission (TEM) and scanning (SEM) electron microscopy. In both species occur 16 cephalic sense organs, which contain three modified dendritic processes, in addition to the amphids.
