HNRNPD Induces Radioresistance in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma by Sequestering GRAMD4 mRNA in Stress Granules

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
HNRNPD promotes radioresistance in nasopharyngeal carcinoma by enhancing stress granule assembly and sequestering GRAMD4 mRNA. This suppresses GRAMD4 translation and inhibits mitochondrial apoptosis. Targeting the integrated stress response with ISRIB restores GRAMD4 expression and sensitizes tumors to radiotherapy, revealing a translational control ...

Single-cell T-cell receptor repertoire profiling in dogs

open access: yesCommunications Biology
Spontaneous cancers in companion dogs are robust models of human disease. Tracking tumor-specific immune responses in these models requires reagents to perform species-specific single cell T cell receptor sequencing (scTCRseq).

Deep Sequencing of the T-cell Receptor Repertoire Demonstrates Polyclonal T-cell Infiltrates in Psoriasis [version 1; referees: 2 approved]

open access: yesF1000Research, 2015
It is well known that infiltration of pathogenic T-cells plays an important role in psoriasis pathogenesis. However, the antigen specificity of these activated T-cells is relatively unknown.

A Kinetic Basis For T Cell Receptor Repertoire Selection during an Immune Response

open access: yes, 1999
The basis for T cell antigen receptor (TCR) repertoire selection upon repeated antigenic challenge is unclear. We evaluated the avidity and dissociation kinetics of peptide/major histocompatibility complex (MHC) tetramer binding to antigen-specific T ...

T-Cell activation: a queuing theory analysis at low agonist density [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We analyze a simple linear triggering model of the T-cell receptor (TCR) within the framework of queuing theory, in which TCRs enter the queue upon full activation and exit by downregulation.

Cuproptosis and Mitophagy Mediated by the THUMPD1/IGF2R‐Dependent Suppression of AKT and Activation of AMPK Signaling Suppress Lung Adenocarcinoma Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
THUMPD1 drives a tumor‐suppressive signaling cascade in lung adenocarcinoma by promoting IGF2R expression. IGF2R associates with PPP2R1A to suppress AKT and activate AMPK, leading to SLC31A1 upregulation and copper accumulation. Elevated copper disrupts mitochondrial metabolism and induces excessive mitophagy, thereby restraining tumor growth and ...

Aptamer‐Engineered Liposomal Platform Enables in Situ cDC1 Vaccination to Potentiate Immunotherapy in Prostate Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Prostate cancer is immunologically ‘cold’, with scarce, dysfunctional type 1 conventional dendritic cells (cDC1s) that limit T cell priming. We introduce an aptamer‐targeted liposomedelivering FMS‐like tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (Flt3L) and chlorin e6 (Ce6). Ultrasound induces antigen release and cDC1s recruitment, creating an in situ cDC1 vaccine.

Mathematical modelling of T cell homeostasis

open access: yes, 2010
T cell homeostasis describes the process through which the immune system regulates cell survival, proliferation, differentiation and death to maintain T cell numbers and diversity in a range of different conditions. The aim of this thesis is to better

CTBPro: A Next‐Generation Cholera Toxin Subunit B‐Based Neuroanatomical Tracer With Superior Brightness, Stability, and Sensitivity for Enhanced Neural Circuit Mapping

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CTBPro is a next‐generation cholera toxin B–based tracer engineered by fusing CTB to the ultra‐stable fluorescent protein mBaojin. Exhibiting markedly enhanced molar brightness, CTBPro enables high‐fidelity neuronal labeling across multiple administration routes.
