Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

The Relationship of Neoadjuvant Taxanes, Anthracyclines, Cyclophosphamide Chemotherapy on Nutritional Status Based on Body Mass Index (BMI) and Albumin Measurements in Locally Advanced Stage Breast Cancer Patients in Bahteramas Hospital Kendari

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Cancer
Background: Breast cancer is a disease caused by cancer cells in breast tissue. The most frequently found is locally advanced. The locally advanced stage refers to stages IIIA, IIIB, and IIIC. Neoadjuvant is the treatment for locally advanced. The Taxane,

Preferential orientation of diamond formation on TaC: Diamond(111)//TaC(111)

open access: yesFunctional Diamond
Experimental results showed that for the diamond film prepared by hot filament chemical vapor deposition (HFCVD) using Ta filament, TaC existed between diamond and the silicon substrate, and diamond grew directly on TaC, while the inherent mechanism was ...

Pre‐Encoded IFN‐I Sensitivity Exacerbates Memory T Cell Senescence in Solid Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Type I interferon (IFN‐I) signaling promotes p21‐dependent cell cycle arrest in senescent tumor‐specific memory T cells, resulting in poor proliferative responses and solid tumor regression during cancer vaccination. Conversely, IFNα/β receptor blockade reinvigorates T cell proliferation to regress solid tumors and is more effective with increasing ...

PET Imaging of Cardiac Inflammation in Viral Myocarditis Using a DPP4‐Targeted Probe

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study describes a DPP4‐targeted PET probe for imaging myocardial inflammation by selectively targeting activated immune cells. Derived from the clinically approved small‐molecule inhibitor linagliptin, the probe demonstrates favorable biodistribution with specific cardiac uptake in myocarditis.

Comprehensive Evaluation of Distillation Methods for Water-Ethanol Separation: Energy, Exergy, and CO₂ Emission Analysis with Process Enhancement [PDF]

open access: yesChemical Process Design
Azeotropic distillation (AD) and extractive distillation (ED) are two conventional methods for separating azeotropic mixtures. However, these processes consume a high amount of energy like other distillation columns.
