NS Fivebrane and Tachyon Condensation [PDF]
We argue that a semi-infinite D6-brane ending on an NS5-brane can be obtained from the condensation of the tachyon on the unstable D9-brane of type IIA theory.

Tachyon condensation on brane sphalerons [PDF]
We consider a sphaleron solution in field theory that provides a toy model for unstable D-branes of string theory. We investigate the tachyon condensation on a Dp-brane.

Loop corrected tachyon condensation [PDF]
We study loop corrections in boundary string field theory (BSFT). After commenting on problems with quantizing the tree level BSFT as an ordinary field theory, we discuss the tree level coupling to closed strings and define the loop corrections via factorization in the closed string channel.

Area Law Saturation of Entropy Bound from Perturbative Unitarity in Renormalizable Theories
Abstract We study the quantum information storage capacity of solitons and baryons in renormalizable quantum field theories that do not include gravity. We observe that a 't Hooft‐Polyakov magnetic monopole saturates the Bekenstein bound on information when the theory saturates the bound on perturbative unitarity.

Imperfect Fluid Generalized Robertson Walker Spacetime Admitting Ricci‐Yamabe Metric
In the present paper, we investigate the nature of Ricci‐Yamabe soliton on an imperfect fluid generalized Robertson‐Walker spacetime with a torse‐forming vector field ξ. Furthermore, if the potential vector field ξ of the Ricci‐Yamabe soliton is of the gradient type, the Laplace‐Poisson equation is derived.

Confinement of Fermions in Tachyon Matter at Finite Temperature
We study a phenomenological model that mimics the characteristics of QCD theory at finite temperature. The model involves fermions coupled with a modified Abelian gauge field in a tachyon matter. It reproduces some important QCD features such as confinement, deconfinement, chiral symmetry, and quark‐gluon‐plasma (QGP) phase transitions.

TACHYON CONDENSATES AND ANISOTROPIC UNIVERSE [PDF]
We investigate the cosmological solutions in closed bosonic string theory in the presence of nonzero tachyon condensate. We specifically obtain time-dependent solutions which describes an anisotropic universe. We also discuss the nature of such time-dependent solutions when small tachyon fluctuations around the condensate are taken into account.

Particle Production in Tachyon Condensation [PDF]
We study particle production in the tachyon condensation process as described by different effective actions for the tachyon. By making use of invariant operators, we are able to obtain exact results for the density of produced particles, which is shown to depend strongly on the specific action.
