Se estudiaron la distribución de tallas y patrones de reproducción, en un período de 13 meses, en el bivalvo Tagelus pernvianus, en el estero de Puntarenas, Golfo de Nicoya. La especie tiene un período de reproducción contínuo durante el año, aunque el desove máximo ocurre entre enero y febrero. El reclutamiento es más exitoso en la sección de la playa

The composition and distribution of the main associations of submerged macrobenthos of Bahía Málaga (Colombian pacific coast), were studied in relation to the distribution of hard and soft substrates and some abiotic factors. Eight localities were sampled during six months: three in the external border of the estuary and five in the inner part.
