Ru‐Doping‐Engineered Oxygen Vacancies in MoO3‐x Nanostructured Films With Ultrahigh Capacitance for Flexible Asymmetric Supercapacitors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ru‐doping‐induced defect engineering enables freestanding Ru–MoO3‐x flexible films with enriched oxygen vacancies, modulated band structure, and enhanced charge transport. The optimized electrode delivers ultrahigh capacitance approaching the theoretical limit of MoO3, while assembled asymmetric supercapacitors exhibit high energy density, wide‐voltage

Open‐Shell Conjugated Polymers Enable Photothermoelectric Conversion and Detection of Short‐Wave Infrared Light

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Efficient conversion and detection of short‐wave infrared (SWIR) photons are becoming increasingly important for emerging photonic and energy technologies. Here, we report an organic photothermoelectric device based on an open‐shell conjugated polymer that enables SWIR energy conversion and photon detection via the photothermoelectric effect.

Scan‐Path‐ and Initial‐State‐Dependent Superdomain Switching in (111)‐Oriented PZT

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Scan trajectory and initial superdomain topology govern polarization switching in (111)‐oriented PZT. Automated AFM writing, pulsing experiments, and interferometric 3D‐PFM show that raster scans reproducibly stabilize ordered Type‐I stripe superdomains with constrained variant selection, whereas spiral trajectories generate frustrated mixed‐variant ...

Environmental Effects on RRAM Cells Based on 2D Halide Perovskite Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
RRAM offers high speed, scalability, and low power, positioning it as a next‐generation non‐volatile memory. Two‐dimensional halide perovskites show promise due to tunable optoelectronic properties and flexible processing but suffer from environmental sensitivity. This review examines degradation from humidity, temperature, light, and strain, discusses

X‐Ray TID Suppresses Inhibitory Plasticity of SnO‐Based Memristors and Its Impact on Neuromorphic Computation

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
X‐ray irradiation suppresses inhibitory plasticity in SnO‐based volatile memristors, reducing nonlinearity and variability while improving neuromorphic learning accuracy. Despite a reduced dynamic range, irradiated devices achieve more stable and linear synaptic updates, leading to enhanced CNN performance.
