Tunable Plasmonic Talbot Effect Based on Graphene Monolayer
In this article, the plasmonic Talbot effect supported by a graphene monolayer is investigated theoretically when surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) are excited on the graphene.

Talbot Effect for Exciton Polaritons [PDF]
We demonstrate, experimentally and theoretically, a Talbot effect for hybrid light-matter waves -- exciton-polariton condensate formed in a semiconductor microcavity with embedded quantum wells. The characteristic 'Talbot carpet' is produced by loading the exciton-polariton condensate into a microstructured one dimensional periodic array of mesa traps,

Spectral self-imaging of optical orbital angular momentum modes
The Talbot self-imaging effect is mostly present in the forms of space or time, or in the frequency domain by the Fourier duality. Here, we disclose a new spectral Talbot effect arising in optical orbital angular momentum (OAM) modes.

Bright and dark Talbot pulse trains on a chip
Temporal Talbot effect, the intriguing phenomenon of the self-imaging of optical pulse trains, is extensively investigated using macroscopic components. However, the ability to manipulate pulse trains, either bright or dark, through the Talbot effect on ...

Talbot effect in the presence of interactions [PDF]
We study both experimentally and theoretically, considering bosonic atoms in a periodic potential, the influence of interactions in a Talbot interferometer. While interactions decrease the contrast of the revivals, we find that over a wide range of interactions the Talbot signal is still proportional to the phase coherence of the matter wave field. Our

Superwavelength self-healing of spoof surface sonic Airy-Talbot waves
Self-imaging phenomena for nonperiodic waves along a parabolic trajectory encompass both the Talbot effect and the accelerating Airy beams. Beyond the ability to guide waves along a bent trajectory, the self-imaging component offers invaluable advantages

The plasmon analog of the self-imaging Talbot effect is described and theoretically analyzed. Rich plasmon carpets containing hot spots are shown to be produced by a row of periodically-spaced surface features. A row of holes drilled in a metal film and illuminated from the back side is discussed as a realizable implementation of this concept.
