Microfluidic Gratings for X‐Ray Phase Contrast Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work establishes a new protocol for the fabrication of X‐ray gratings that exploits the advantages of microfluidics and enables a more inexpensive, faster, and scalable production process. These X‐ray devices are fundamental for implementing X‐ray phase contrast imaging (XPCI) in laboratory and clinical settings, yet their costly and complex ...

‘Giving Back to Our Community’: The Retention of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Disability Workforce in New South Wales, Australia

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Social Issues, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of Australia require culturally responsive services. The Australian government has committed to establishing strategies to increase the size of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander disability workforce; however, there is scant research on the factors influencing retention.

The Influence of Corporate Sustainability Rating Methodology on Disclosure Behavior

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The rise of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investing has illuminated long‐standing concerns over the ability for sustainability rating schemes to accurately convey sustainability‐related performance of firms. This study theorizes and empirically examines how a detailed and transparent rating methodology influences what information

Effect of fill-factor on the Talbot effect of diffraction gratings [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the European Optical Society-Rapid Publications, 2011
We analyze the effect of the fill factor of binary diffraction gratings on the Talbot effect under a scalar approach. We show that the location of the best-visibility planes changes with the configuration parameters of the grating, that is, the amplitude

Reporting What Matters, or Reporting What Looks Good? Materiality and Balance in Post–Rana Plaza Apparel Sustainability Disclosure

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Sustainability reports (SRs) are widely criticized for vague disclosures and selective emphasis on positive outcomes, yet systematic research on two core SR challenges remains limited: materiality (whether disclosed content is relevant) and balance (whether both achievements and challenges are reported).

NMF Cross spectral factor analysis - Brain-wide electrical dynamics encode an appetitive socioemotional state

open access: yes, 2022
This repository contains the code used to perform the analyses used in the paper "Brain-wide electrical dynamics encode an appetitive socioemotional state". This was implemented in Tensorflow 1.0, which is outdated and largely obselete. These models have

Formalising Sustainability Management as a Core Process Group in Project Management

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Sustainability has become a strategic imperative for organisations, yet widely used project management standards such as the PMBoK sixth and seventh editions still do not formalise how sustainability should be embedded across project work. This gap matters because PMBoK‐based processes shape governance, roles, documentation and performance ...

A causal look into the quantum Talbot effect [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of Chemical Physics, 2007
A well-known phenomenon in both optics and quantum mechanics is the so-called Talbot effect. This near field interference effect arises when infinitely periodic diffracting structures or gratings are illuminated by highly coherent light or particle beams. Typical diffraction patterns known as quantum carpets are then observed.

Talbot-enhanced, maximum-visibility imaging of condensate interference

open access: yes, 2017
Nearly two centuries ago Talbot first observed the fascinating effect whereby light propagating through a periodic structure generates a `carpet' of image revivals in the near field.

Managing Biodiversity Disclosure in Global Firms: How Culture, Institutions and Risk Shape Corporate Reporting

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines the drivers of biodiversity disclosure and the interplay between firm strategies and national institutions in shaping transparency. Using a global panel of 4703 firms across 40 economies from 2013 to 2022, we integrate differentiation, signalling and institutional perspectives to explain variation in reporting behaviour ...
