Study of the Mechanical Properties of Gelatin Films with Natural Compounds of Tamarix hispida

open access: yesEurasian Chemico-Technological Journal, 2023
In this work, an extract of the Tamarix hispida (TH-10) was prepared in 10 vol.% water-ethanol solution. Based on the properties of antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory activity, various gelatin films containing (10–15 wt.%) gelatin were obtained.

ThASR4 enhances salt tolerance in transgenic Tamarix and Arabidopsis by scavenging reactive oxygen species [PDF]

open access: yesBMC Plant Biology
Background ASR genes are a class of genes that are expressed in plants in response to abscisic acid, abiotic stress, and fruit ripening. While they have been successfully cloned and functionally characterized in various plant species, research on this ...

Lysine acetylome analysis reveals the critical role of acetylation-modified transcription factors and a chaperone protein in regulation of salt tolerance in Tamarix hispida [PDF]

open access: yesBMC Plant Biology
Background Lysine acetylation of transcription factors (TFs) is essential for plant adaptation to abiotic stress, yet its role in the salt tolerance of woody halophytes remains unclear.

Overexpression of Tamarix hispida ThTrx5 Confers Salt Tolerance to Arabidopsis by Activating Stress Response Signals. [PDF]

open access: yesInt J Mol Sci, 2020
Salt stress inhibits normal plant growth and development by disrupting cellular water absorption and metabolism. Therefore, understanding plant salt tolerance mechanisms should provide a theoretical basis for developing salt-resistant varieties.
