An Efficient Algorithm for Clustering of Large-Scale Mass Spectrometry Data

open access: yes, 2013
High-throughput spectrometers are capable of producing data sets containing thousands of spectra for a single biological sample. These data sets contain a substantial amount of redundancy from peptides that may get selected multiple times in a LC-MS/MS ...

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Newborn Sickle Cell Disease Screening Using Electrospray Tandem Mass Spectrometry

open access: yesInternational Journal of Neonatal Screening, 2018
There is a growing demand for newborn sickle cell disease screening globally. Historically techniques have relied on the separation of intact haemoglobin tetramers using electrophoretic or liquid chromatography techniques.

Synchronized Electro‐Chromo‐Emissive Devices Using a Mixed Ionic‐Electronic Conductive Layer for XR Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A single cell type Electro‐chromo‐emissive (ECECL) device integrating synchronized electrochromic (EC) and electrochemiluminescent (ECL) functions is developed using a mixed ionic‐electronic conductor (MIEC). A MIEC layer reduces ionic/electronic resistance, enabling ultrafast switching and enhanced optical contrast.

Overcoming the Stability Issue for Hydrophobic Hole Transporting Layers Utilized in Tin‐Lead Perovskite and Tandem Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A non‐annealed process is developed for non‐PEDOT:PSS inverted tin‐lead perovskite solar cells to attain PCE 22.67% for the PTAA‐based device. When PTAA is applied in an all‐perovskite tandem solar cell, a record efficiency of 28.14% is obtained with great stability for the efficiency maintaining 96% of its original value for 500 h under one‐sun ...
