Long-term Tracking in the Wild: A Benchmark

open access: yes, 2018
We introduce the OxUvA dataset and benchmark for evaluating single-object tracking algorithms. Benchmarks have enabled great strides in the field of object tracking by defining standardized evaluations on large sets of diverse videos.

Targeting PRAME directly or via EZH2 inhibition overcomes retinoid resistance and represents a novel therapy for keratinocyte carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The study evaluated the function and therapeutic implications of PRAME in basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). The findings demonstrate that PRAME impairs keratinocyte differentiation pathways. Furthermore, PRAME impairs anticancer response to retinoid compounds in BCC and SCC cells.

A Hybrid Cluster-Based Target Tracking Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, 2013
Target tracking is a typical and important application of wireless sensor networks (WSNs). In consideration of the network scalability and energy efficiency for target tracking in large-scale WSNs, it has been employed as an effective solution by ...

Improved Interacting Multiple Model Particle Filter Algorithm [PDF]

open access: yesXibei Gongye Daxue Xuebao, 2018
For the issue of limited filtering accuracy of interactive multiple model particle filter algorithm caused by the resampling particles don't contain the latest observation information, we made improvements on interactive multiple model particle filter ...

Targeting the MDM2‐MDM4 interaction interface reveals an otherwise therapeutically active wild‐type p53 in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study investigates an alternative approach to reactivating the oncosuppressor p53 in cancer. A short peptide targeting the association of the two p53 inhibitors, MDM2 and MDM4, induces an otherwise therapeutically active p53 with unique features that promote cell death and potentially reduce toxicity towards proliferating nontumor cells.

Tracking of interacting targets [PDF]

open access: yes2017 20th International Conference on Information Fusion (Fusion), 2017
In this paper we present a method for the tracking of interacting targets disregarding whether or not the targets are close to each other. The method relies on parametric modeling of assumptions about targets interactive motion. Our filtering solution incorporates the parameters of the model in the state vector to perform on-line parameter estimation ...

Jointly Tracking and Separating Speech Sources Using Multiple Features and the generalized labeled multi-Bernoulli Framework

open access: yes, 2018
This paper proposes a novel joint multi-speaker tracking-and-separation method based on the generalized labeled multi-Bernoulli (GLMB) multi-target tracking filter, using sound mixtures recorded by microphones.

A large‐scale retrospective study in metastatic breast cancer patients using circulating tumour DNA and machine learning to predict treatment outcome and progression‐free survival

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
There is an unmet need in metastatic breast cancer patients to monitor therapy response in real time. In this study, we show how a noninvasive and affordable strategy based on sequencing of plasma samples with longitudinal tracking of tumour fraction paired with a statistical model provides valuable information on treatment response in advance of the ...
