Modeling of thin layer drying of tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus L.)
Industrial Crops and Products, 2009The drying behavior of tarragon leaves as well as chopped plants were evaluated at air temperatures ranging from 40 to 90 °C, at various air relative humidities and a constant air velocity of 0.6 m/s. The experimental data was fitted to a number of thin layer drying equations. The equations were classified to select the more relevant one.

On a clear, sunny and crisp second day of January the arts community in Toronto paused to pay tribute to a fallen leader. Urjo Kareda (1944–2001) had died of cancer in late December and a memorial service at the Bloor Street United Church saw a standing-room-only gathering of actors, playwrights, designers, administrators, arts patrons, educators and ...

Short Paper: Asynchronous programming with Tarragon
2006 15th IEEE International Conference on High Performance Distributed Computing, 2006Tarragon is an actor-based programming model and library for implementing latency tolerant asynchronous event driven simulations. It is novel in its support for meta data describing run time virtualized process structures, which may be optimized as a free-standing object.
