Correlation measurements in Z-]tau(+)tau(-) and the tau-neutrino helicity

1994
Using data collected with the ALEPH detector at LEP correlations between the decay products of the tau(+) and tau- produced in the decay of the Z have been measured. The measurements performed in the decays tau --> pi nu and tau --> p nu place limits on deviations from the Standard Model.

Different tau epitopes define Aβ42-mediated tau insolubility

Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 2005
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by extracellular beta-amyloid (Abeta(42))-containing plaques and intracellular neurofibrillary tangles. The latter are composed of hyperphosphorylated filamentous aggregates of the microtubule-associated protein tau.

Search for CP violation in Z-]tau-tau

1992
Using the 18.8 pb-1 of data accumulated at LEP in 1990 and 1991 with the ALEPH detector, a direct test of neutral current CP-invariance is performed by a search for CP-odd correlations in Z decays to tau pairs where both tau decay modes are identified. No evidence for CP-violation is observed. The weak dipole moment of the tau has been measured to be d(

Measurement of the Decays $\tau^- \to K^*$ $\nu_\tau$ and $\tau^- \to \rho^- \nu_\tau$

1988
Using the ARGUS detector at DORIS II, we have determined the branching ratios for the decays τ−→K*−vτ and τ−→ρ−vτ to be (1.23 ±0.21−0.21+0.11)% and (21.5±0.4±1.9)%, respectively. These results are in agreement with theoretical expectations based on the standard model.
