2-Deacetoxytaxinine B: a taxane diterpenoid from Taxus chinensis
Phytochemistry, 19982-Deacetoxytaxinine B, a taxane diterpenoid, was isolated from the stem bark of Taxus chinensis along with six known taxane diterpenoids and the diterpenolignan, brevitaxin. The structure of 2-deacetoxytaxinine was determined with the aid of spectroscopic techniques, including 2D NMR spectroscopy.

Sciadopitysin: active component fromTaxus chinensisfor anti-Alzheimer's disease
Natural Product Research, 2013Five taxane diterpenoids derived from the 95% ethanol extract of Taxus chinensis were tested for the inhibitory activities on amyloid-beta (Aβ) peptide aggregation. Using thioflavin-T fluorescence assay, sciadopitysin was found to exhibit the most potency against Aβ aggregation and the formation of fibrils.

Four new minor taxanes from cell cultures ofTaxus chinensis
Journal of Asian Natural Products Research, 2009Four new minor taxanes (1-4) have been isolated from Ts-19 cell cultures of Taxus chinensis together with five known taxanes (5-9) by silica gel chromatography combined with semi-preparative HPLC chromatography. On the basis of the analyses of the chemical and spectroscopic (IR, MS, 1D, and 2D NMR) data, the structures of new compounds were elucidated ...

Determination of taxol in Taxus chinensis by HPLC method.
Yao xue xue bao = Acta pharmaceutica Sinica, 1992A method for the determination of taxol in Taxus chinensis by HPLC method using betamethasone as internal standard is described. The column employed was packed with 10 microns silica gel YWG 80 (250 x 4 mm), the eluting solvent consisted of CH2Cl2--MeOH (95:5) and the effluent was monitored at 228 nm. The coefficients of variation are less than 2%.
