Taxane diterpenoids from the bark of Taxus yunnanensis

Phytochemistry, 2001
Further investigation on the alcohol extract of the barks of Taxus yunnanensis led to the isolation of four taxoids, namely, 7beta-xylosyl-taxol D, taxuyunnanines P, Q and R, along with the known taxuyuntin G (2). Four are rearranged taxoids with an 11(15-->1)-abeotaxoid skeleton and an opened oxetane ring moiety.

Rearranged Taxanes from the Bark of Taxus yunnanensis

Journal of Natural Products, 2000
Five new 11(15-->1)-abeo-taxane diterpenoids, taxuyunnanines K-O (1-5), were isolated from an ethanol extract of the bark of Taxus yunnanensis, and their structures were determined using MS and NMR techniques. Compounds 1/2 and 4/5 are rearranged taxane diterpenoids possessing an opened oxetane ring moiety at C4(20).

Intramolecular transesterified taxanes from Taxus yunnanensis

Phytochemistry, 1997
Investigation of the roots of Taxus yunnanensis led to the isolation of two groups of interconvertible taxanes, made up by two and three compounds, respectively. Three of the compounds are new and were identified as 1 beta-hydroxy-10-deacetyl-baccatin I, 10-deacetyl-baccatin VI and 9-deacetyl-baccatin VI. Copyright (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.

A taxane-11,12-oxide from Taxus yunnanensis

Phytochemistry, 1996
Abstract A new taxoid, decinnamoyl-taxinine B-11,12-oxide, was isolated from the leaves and stems of Taxus yunnanensis . This is the first example of an 11,12-epoxy taxoid isolated from the yew tree.

Taxayuntin H and J from Taxus yunnanensis

Phytochemistry, 1998
Abstract The structures of two new 11(15 → 1)abeotaxanes (taxayuntin H and J) isolated from the barks of Taxus yunnanensis have been elucidated by means of 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic method. Taxayuntin J belongs to the rare group of taxanes with C-4 unfunctionalised.

Taxanes from Taxus Yunnanensis

Phytochemistry, 1995
Abstract Two new taxane diterpenoids as well as a known one, taxayunnansin A, were isolated from the roots of Taxus yunnanensis . One of the new compounds was identified as a unique taxane with a 2,20-oxetane ring. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic techniques, especially by 2D NMR spectra.

Protoplast culture and paclitaxel production by Taxus yunnanensis

Plant Cell, Tissue and Organ Culture, 1999
Viable protoplasts of Taxus yunnanensis were isolated from friable, light yellow callus. Protoplast yield was dependent on callus age, with a maximum from 20-day-old callus. Protoplasts were induced to undergo sustained divisions and to form cell colonies when cultured in medium consisting of B5 salts, KM vitamin and organic components, 0.45 M fructose,

Rearranged Taxoids fromTaxus yunnanensis

Planta Medica, 1995
Two rearranged 2(3→20)abeotaxanes were isolated from the leaves and stems of Taxus yunnanensis, and designated as taxin B and 2-deacetyltaxin B. The structure of taxin B with a unique 6/10/6 skeleton was deduced on the basis of 1 H-NMR, 13 C-NMR, 1 H- 1 H COSY, DEPT, NOE, and mass spectra and confirmed by X-ray crystallographic analysis.

Novel taxoids from the Chinese yew Taxus yunnanensis

Tetrahedron, 2003
Six new taxoids, taxuyunnanines W (1), X (2), Y (3), Z (5), 10-deacetyl-10-(beta-glucopyranosyl)-yunnanxane (8), and 7-(beta-xylosyl)-N-methyl-taxol C (10), as well as taxuchin B (4) and yunnanxane (7), have been isolated from the bark of Taxus yunnanensis. Compounds 1 and 2 were characterized as 11 (15-->1)-abeo taxoids containing an orthoester group,

Taxol Related Diterpenes from the Roots of Taxus yunnanensis

HETEROCYCLES, 1994
Four new taxol related diterpenes were isolated from the roots of Taxus yunnanensis together with taxol, cephalomannine, 10-deacetyltaxol, and 10- deacetylcephalomannine and their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic ...
