In this study, the Taylor-Couette flow was disturbed by incorporating annular fins over the inner rotating surface. The finned surface had three parameters: height, width, and length between fins.

In this thesis we investigate turbulent multiphase Taylor–Couette flows. In chapter 1 and 2 we investigate bubbly Taylor–Couette flows in light of drag reduction for the shipping industry.
