Reshaping CAR-T cells through overexpression of T cell factor 1

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology
IntroductionAlthough chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy has revolutionized treatment for hematologic malignancies, insufficient CAR-T cell persistence remains a major limitation. T cell factor 1 (TCF-1) is a transcription factor crucial for T

CLDN18.2 in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma: Biomarker assessment, spatial heterogeneity and therapeutic modality selection

open access: yesClinical and Translational Discovery, Volume 6, Issue 5, October 2026.
This review presents a framework for selecting Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2)‐directed treatment modalities in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma according to tumour antigen coverage and spatial distribution. Representative assessment at baseline and reassessment after progression can guide treatment adaptation over time.

Mitigating Stress‐Induced Nonphotoactive Phase Transition Through Sodium Sulfonate Engineering for Stable and Efficient Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 40, 28 September 2026.
To address the phase stability issue of α‐FAPbI3, we employed a cation doping strategy using 1‐decanesulfonate (C10H21NaO3S). This doping releases lattice strain and suppresses the formation of the δ‐phase, enabling breakthrough performance in perovskite solar cells with a power conversion efficiency of 26.67% and excellent thermal and photostability ...

Suppression of neointima formation by targeting β-catenin/TCF pathway

open access: yes, 2020
Synopsis Coronary artery disease is treated by vein grafting and stent implantation. Late vein graft failure and restenosis of stented arteries reduce the success rates of these approaches and are caused by neointima formation.

Data_Sheet_1_Long Wavelength TCF-Based Fluorescent Probe for the Detection of Alkaline Phosphatase in Live Cells.docx

open access: yes, 2019
A long wavelength TCF-based fluorescent probe (TCF-ALP) was developed for the detection of alkaline phosphatase (ALP). ALP-mediated hydrolysis of the phosphate group of TCF-ALP resulted in a significant fluorescence “turn on” (58-fold), which was ...

Femtosecond‐Laser‐Inscribed Cladding Fiber Bragg Gratings: Architectures, Design Trade‐Offs and Future Sensing Opportunities

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 20, Issue 19, 7 October 2026.
Femtosecond‐laser inscription enables precise positioning of fiber Bragg gratings within the cladding, introducing new spatial and modal design freedoms. Auxiliary‐waveguide, near‐core evanescent‐field, and direct cladding‐mode‐excitation architectures provide complementary pathways toward multiparameter, vector, distributed, and environmentally ...

Hippo Pathway–YAP/TAZ Signaling: Molecular Mechanisms, Biological Function, Diseases, and Therapeutic Targets

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 10, October 2026.
The Hippo–YAP/TAZ–TEAD pathway integrates mechanical and biochemical cues to govern organ growth, regeneration, cancer, and fibrosis. This review dissects pathway physiology, TEAD structural pharmacology and ligandable pockets, and therapeutic strategies spanning palmitoylation‐pocket inhibitors, PROTAC degraders, and gene/RNA therapies, highlighting ...

Piper nigrum Has an Antitumor Effect Through Regulation of the Phosphatidylinositol 3‐Kinase Signaling Pathway in a Murine Model of Acute Myeloid Leukemia

open access: yesPhytotherapy Research, Volume 40, Issue 10, Page 5988-6004, October 2026.
Overview of the antileukemic effects of Piper nigrum extract in AML. P. nigrum reduced leukemic cell proliferation and glycolytic metabolism through modulation of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway. In vivo, treatment reduced leukemic burden, improved hematological parameters, prolonged survival, and modulated antitumor immune responses.
