Mechano‐Chemical Coordination of Nanoparticle‐Based Artificial Antigen‐Presenting Cells Synergistically Tunes T Cell Activation and Expansion Phenotypes

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Mechanically distinct nano artificial antigen‐presenting cells with independently controlled antibody density are used to reveal how physical and biochemical cues jointly regulate human T‐cell activation. Increasing stiffness and antibody density accelerates activation, enhances expansion, and promotes effector‐associated differentiation, whereas ...

Study on the preparation of aligned silver nanowire transparent conductive films by wind-assisted method and its structural and electrical properties

open access: yesResults in Engineering
Silver nanowire transparent conductive films (AgNWs-TCF) exhibit excessively high junction resistance due to the presence of a large number of wire-to-wire junctions in their conductive networks.

Economic and Land Use Impacts of Synthetic Dairy Production on a Dairy‐Intensive Economy: New Technology Moo‐ving In

open access: yesAustralian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Synthetic dairy products are promoted as an environmentally sustainable alternative to conventional dairy goods. This paper examines the potential economic, employment and land use impacts of large‐scale synthetic dairy production on Aotearoa New Zealand—the world's leading dairy exporter. Using a global, economy‐wide model, we simulate a case

Combination radiation and αPD-L1 enhance tumor control by stimulating CD8+ PD-1+ TCF-1+ T cells in the tumor-draining lymph node

open access: yesNature Communications
Combination radiotherapy (RT) and αPD-L1 therapy has potential to enhance local and distant (abscopal) tumor control, however, clinical results in humans have been variable.

Incidence and risk factors for postpartum infections: A Norwegian cohort study, 2012–2020

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
Nationwide registry data from 516 874 deliveries in Norway (2012–2020) show that postpartum infections are common and that endometritis/puerperal sepsis is increasing. Delivery‐related factors, especially emergency cesarean section, postpartum hemorrhage, and chorioamnionitis, show the strongest associations.

Associated Injuries in Ankle Fractures Involving the Tillaux-Chaput Fragment in Adults

open access: yesFoot & Ankle Orthopaedics
Category: Trauma; Ankle Introduction/Purpose: Tillaux-Chaput fractures (TCF) consist of fractures of the anterolateral distal tibia. They are considered a rare entity during adulthood and can occur in isolation or be associated with other injuries around

Learning Across the Divide: Understanding Knowledge Sharing Through Petrographic Analysis on Ceramics From the Rhine‐Meuse Delta During the Middle to Late Neolithic Transition (3400–2200 bce)

open access: yesArchaeometry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Vlaardingen (VL) communities on the Dutch West coast (3400–2200 bce) are part of a unique, long‐term continuity in the European Neolithic. Despite large‐scale changes in European populations during the Neolithic, the genomic diversity and cultural practices of VL communities can be retraced to the Mesolithic.

Therapeutic potential of natural products in cancer immunotherapy: Advances and challenges

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, EarlyView.
This review systematically outlines the mechanisms underlying tumour immunotherapy resistance and elucidates the role of natural products in enhancing therapeutic efficacy as immunomodulatory adjuvants. Abstract Immunotherapy has emerged as a clinically pivotal approach in cancer treatment, but its application remains limited to a small subset of ...
