Using Womanism Counseling to Support Black Girls
ABSTRACT Black girls have had to navigate adultification, criminalization, and marginalization at significantly higher rates. The application of frameworks rooted in womanist tenets has the ability to create safe and affirming spaces that can empower Black girls and foster resilience while promoting their socioemotional development.
