Matter-mineral characteristics of technogene placers – potential sources of precious metals (on the example of the Nizhneselemdzhinsky gold-bearing node of Priamurye, Russia) [PDF]

open access: yesGeoresursy, 2019
Over tens of years of mining and processing of ores and placers of gold in the world a huge amount of wastes originated in the form of spoil heaps and tailing dumps, in which the content of valuable components allow them to be considered a real ...

Special features of composition of native gold from technogene placers on the example of the Nizhneselemdzhinsky gold-bearing node (Priamurye)

open access: yesИзвестия Томского политехнического университета: Инжиниринг георесурсов, 2017
The study of native gold in the exhausted placers is an urgent task as the accumulated dumps are the potential sources of gold because of the significant loss of fine gold through the extraction.

Cumulus expansion is impaired with advanced reproductive age due to loss of matrix integrity and reduced hyaluronan

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 22, Issue 11, November 2023., 2023
Reproductive aging is associated with impaired cumulus expansion. Cumulus–oocyte complexes from reproductively old mice demonstrate reduced hyaluronan (HA) levels and compromised extracellular matrix (ECM) integrity which is associated with dysregulated expression of ECM genes and increased transcript levels of inflammatory genes.

The invariant chain CD74 protein is a cell surface binding partner of TIMP‐1 in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 17, Issue 8, Page 1595-1612, August 2023., 2023
We performed an Y2H screening of a mammary gland cDNA library and identified 56 unique potential TIMP‐1 interactors. We verified one of these interactors, CD74, as a TIMP‐1 cell surface binding protein in breast cancer cells. The remaining hits will need to systematically, and experimentally, be confirmed as TIMP‐1 bona fide binders.

High growth hormone serum partially protects mice against Trypanosoma cruzi infection

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, Volume 13, Issue 7, Page 1346-1356, July 2023., 2023
High growth hormone (GH) serum collected from GHR−/− mice, also called Laron mice (LS) [high GH and low insulin growth factor‐1 (IGF‐1) levels] and transgenic bovine GH mice (high GH and low IGF‐1 levels), significantly decreased Trypanosoma cruzi infection in fibroblast L‐cells.

A comparative high‐resolution physicochemical analysis of commercially available fibrin sealants: Impact of sealant osmolality on biological performance

open access: yesJournal of Biomedical Materials Research Part A, Volume 111, Issue 4, Page 488-501, April 2023., 2023
Abstract Fibrin sealants are well‐established components of the surgical toolbox, especially in procedures that harbor a high risk of perioperative bleeding. Their widespread use as hemostats, sealants or tissue‐adhesives in various surgical settings has shown that the choice of the appropriate sealant system affects the clinical outcome.

After cyclophosphamide exposure, granulosa cells recover their anti‐müllerian hormone‐producing ability but not their numbers

open access: yesCytometry Part A, Volume 99, Issue 8, Page 807-813, August 2021., 2021
Abstract Anti‐müllerian hormone (AMH) produced by granulosa cells (GCs), reserves the ovarian follicle pool for future recruitment and ovulation. However, women who have undergone cyclophosphamide (Cy) treatment have decreased AMH levels due to damaged GCs.

Tim‐3 blockade promotes iNKT cell function to inhibit HBV replication

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 22, Issue 6, Page 3192-3201, June 2018., 2018
Abstract Increased expression of T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain‐3 (Tim‐3) on invariant natural killer T (iNKT) cells is reported in chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. However, whether Tim‐3 regulates iNKT cells in chronic HBV condition remains unclear.

Enhancement of Anti‐Inflammatory and Osteogenic Abilities of Mesenchymal Stem Cells via Cell‐to‐Cell Adhesion to Periodontal Ligament‐Derived Fibroblasts

open access: yesStem Cells International, Volume 2017, Issue 1, 2017., 2017
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are involved in anti‐inflammatory events and tissue repair; these functions are activated by their migration or homing to inflammatory tissues in response to various chemokines. However, the mechanism by which MSCs interact with other cell types in inflammatory tissue remains unclear.

Syringic Acid Extracted from Herba dendrobii Prevents Diabetic Cataract Pathogenesis by Inhibiting Aldose Reductase Activity

open access: yesEvidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Volume 2012, Issue 1, 2012., 2012
Objective. Effects of Syringic acid (SA) extracted from dendrobii on diabetic cataract (DC) pathogenesis were explored. Methods. Both in vitro and in vivo DC lens models were established using D‐gal, and proliferation of HLEC exposed to SA was determined by MMT assay.
