An Interchangeability Test Method for Developing IPG Impedance Equivalency Evidence for Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device Under MRI

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) may receive replacement device components over time, resulting in mixed‐manufacturer systems that pose unknown, potentially higher risk under MRI exposure. It is not clear how to efficiently evaluate whether adding a non‐original implantable pulse generator (IPG) changes the ...

Linking regional and global functional trait data: insights from mammal communities in a fragmented Atlantic Forest landscape

open access: yesOikos, EarlyView.
Accurate functional trait data are essential for understanding ecosystem services and processes in fragmented landscapes. We evaluated whether the global EltonTraits 1.0 database adequately represents the functional structure of mammal communities in forest fragments and restoration sites in a highly fragmented Atlantic Forest landscape.

The monitoring of labor by telemetry

open access: yesJournal of Perinatal Medicine, 1982
Telemetry and conventional cardiotocography were compared by monitoring the labor of 60 patients with an uneventful pregnancy and delivery in the 38th-42nd week of pregnancy. 31 patients were monitored by telemetry and 29 by cardiotocography. The patients were matched for age (+/- 5 years), duration of pregnancy (+/- 7 days) and parity (I or II).
