Research on the Temperature Characteristics of the Photoacoustic Sensor of Glucose Solution

open access: yesSensors, 2018
In order to weaken the influence of temperature on photoacoustic (PA) measurements and compensate PA signals with a proposed theoretical model, the relationship of PA signal amplitude with temperature, under the condition of different glucose ...

Fabrication and Characterization of a Ruthenium Nitride Membrane for Electrochemical pH Sensors

open access: yesSensors, 2009
ThepH sensing and nonideal characteristics of a ruthenium nitride (RuN) sensing membrane pH sensor were investigated. RuN thin films were deposited from a 99.9% ruthenium target on p-type silicon substrates using radio frequency (r.f.) sputtering with N2

THE TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT OF PHAGOCYTOSIS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of General Physiology, 1922
1. The experiments of Madsen and Watabiki on the effect of temperature on the phagocytosis of bacteria are discussed and a new analysis of their curves is given, showing that the rate of phagocytosis is very nearly a logarithmic function of the temperature from 0° to 35°C.; i.e., Q10 is constant over that range and is equal to 2.0.

Consideration of the temperature factor of atmospheric air when determining standard consumption of fuel and energy resources for train traction

open access: yesВестник Научно-исследовательского института железнодорожного транспорта, 2018
. Influence of air temperature on the consumption of fuel and energy resources (FER) on train traction is due to a number of physical laws. The extent of this effect is specified in the Rules for Traction Settlement (RTS).

High precision piecewise linear compensated voltage reference

open access: yesDianzi Jishu Yingyong, 2022
A innovative and high precision piecewise linear compensated voltage reference was designed in this paper. The current proportional to temperature(IPATA) and the current inversely proportional to temperature(ICTAT) was used to obtain the piecewise linear

Longitudinal spin Seebeck coefficient: heat flux vs. temperature difference method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The determination of the longitudinal spin Seebeck effect (LSSE) coefficient is currently plagued by a large uncertainty due to the poor reproducibility of the experimental conditions used in its measurement.

Raman Spectroscopy and Spectral Signatures of AlScN/Al2O3

open access: yesMicromachines, 2022
III-V solid solutions are sensitive to growth conditions due to their stochastic nature. The highly crystalline thin films require a profound understanding of the material properties and reliable means of their determination.

The Temperature Coefficient of Gravity [PDF]

open access: yesNature, 1917
THE general view held by philosophers seems to be that when temperature rises the gravitative attraction changes (if at all) by a function of temperature only. This leads to the results stated in the beginning of their letter by Dr. Lindemann and Mr. Burton.
