Evaporator for thermal deposition of materials in vacuum
The design of an evaporator intended for material deposition in vacuum-coating systems is considered, which has been successfully employed in the technological process of fabricating gallium arsenide transistors, diodes, and monolithic circuits.

Numerical Investigations of the Thermal State of Overhead Lines and Underground Cables in Distribution Networks [PDF]
As part of extensive activities on the reduction of CO2 emissions, a rapid expansion of power generation using new more fuel efficient technologies (large, medium and embedded scale with combined heat and power (CHP) projects) and renewable energy ...

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Research on Annular Pressure Buildup in Deepwater Oil and Gas Well
The annulus pressure buildup of deepwater oil and gas wells refers to the phenomenon that the casing annulus fluid expands, owing to the temperature increase, to cause the closed space to generate additional pressure.

Low-temperature cooling behavior of single-domain magnetite: Forcing of the crystallographic axes and interactions [PDF]
Low-temperature cycling (LTC) of magnetic remanences carried by rocks has become a standard technique in paleomagnetism, rock magnetism, and environmental magnetism as a means of identifying mineralogy and grain size.

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...
