Temperature profiles of impacts [PDF]
Similarity solutions determine the profiles of density and temperature from impacts, which determine the scaling of the temperature and optical depth on material parameters, time, screening, and impactor size. This note uses scaling results derived earlier for the growth, size, and temperature produced by impacts to discuss the radial temperature ...

Profile shape parameterization of JET electron temperature and density profiles [PDF]
The temperature and density profiles of the Joint European Torus are parameterized using log-additive models in the control variables. Predictive error criteria are used to determine which terms in the log-linear model to include. The density and temperature profiles are normalised to their line averages ($\bar{n}$ and $\bar{T}$).

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Data-Driven Soft Sensors in Refining Processes – Pulp Property Estimation Using ARX - Models
This paper focuses on estimation of shives(wide) and fiber length in RGP82CD-refiners using an AutoRegressive eXogenous (ARX) structure in a data-driven soft sensor concept. Both external and internal variables are considered as model inputs.

Temperature-dependent density profiles of dipolar droplets [PDF]
Recently, trapped dipolar gases were observed to form high density droplets in a regime where mean field theory predicts collapse. These droplets present a novel form of equilibrium where quantum fluctuations are critical for stability. So far, the effect of quantum fluctuations have only been considered at zero temperature through the local chemical ...

Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Measurement of temperature profiles in hot gases and flames [PDF]
Computer program was written for calculation of molecular radiative transfer from hot gases. Shape of temperature profile was approximated in terms of simple geometric forms so profile could be characterized in terms of few parameters.

Critical adsorption on non-spherical colloidal particles
We consider a non-spherical colloidal particle immersed in a fluid close to its critical point. The temperature dependence of the corresponding order parameter profile is calculated explicitly.
