Template-free monocular reconstruction of deformable surfaces [PDF]
It has recently been shown that deformable 3D surfaces could be recovered from single video streams. However, existing techniques either require a reference view in which the shape of the surface is known a priori, which often may not be available, or require tracking points over long sequences, which is hard to do.

Preparation of High Surface Area ZrO2 Nanoparticles [PDF]
In comparison to the previous researches, ZrO2 nanoparticles with higher surface area (85 m2/g) have been synthesized in this research. The as-prepared ZrO2 nanoparticles by co-precipitation method were characterized with X-Ray Diffraction (XRD ...

Templated Growth of Metal–Organic Coordination Chains at Surfaces [PDF]
Line them up: Metal-organic chains (see scanning tunneling microscopy image) have been created in situ by self-organized growth at a metal surface under ultrahigh vacuum. These 1D arrangements of metal centers (Fe, Cu), regularly spaced by organic linkers such as trimesitylic acid, open new possibilities for the study of low-dimensional magnetism ...

Phthalocyanine Nanoribbons Fabricated by Template-Free Electrophoretic Deposition
A simple method of constructing organic phthalocyanine nanoribbons by template-free electrophoretic deposition is provided. Copper phthalocyanine molecules in low protonation degree driven under electric field enable the intermolecular ordered assembling

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
