TEORÍA Y PRÁCTICA DE LOPE Y MORATÍN: LA NUEVA COMEDIA, 'LA COMEDIA NUEVA'

open access: yes452ºF, 2014
En este artículo, por primera vez, se ponen en relación las teorías teatrales de dos dramaturgos españoles que crearon escuela: Lope de Vega y Leandro Fernández de Moratín.

Machine learning algorithms of riverbed change and environments of the Lower Apalachicola River

open access: yesDiscover Applied Sciences
Coastal areas, deltas, and the lower end of large rivers have experienced profound long-term changes, destabilizing the environmental balance over the previous several decades.

ESR1 methylation and ESR1 mutations in circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and paired plasma‐cfDNA of advanced breast cancer patients: A feasibility proof‐of‐concept study

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) were analyzed to detect ESR1 mutations and methylation in patients with advanced breast cancer. CTC‐derived DNA showed higher sensitivity for mutation detection and revealed complementary genetic and epigenetic alterations, highlighting the added value of CTC analysis for understanding ...

Metastasis on pause: How dormant tumor cells stay hidden within the tumor microenvironment and evade immune surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Global models for temporal relation classification

open access: yes, 2008
textTemporal relation classification is one of the most challenging areas of natural language processing. Advances in this area have direct relevance to improving practical applications, such as question-answering and summarization systems, as well as ...

Mining Spatio-temporal Data at Different Levels of Detail

open access: yes, 2008
Presented at the 11th AGILE International Conference on Geographic Information Science (AGILE 2008), Girona, Spain, 5-8 May 2008In this paper we propose a methodology for mining very large spatio-temporal datasets.

Differential effects of top-down crossmodal attention on subjective timing of semantic and syntactic violations

open access: yesScientific Reports
Prior knowledge violations about the world’s consistency can distort subjective time perception. Scenes containing contextually irrelevant objects (i.e., semantic violations) are typically underestimated in duration (i.e., perceived shorter), whereas ...

Circulating tumor cell viability during and after radiotherapy mirrors treatment response in cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Created in BioRender. Wikman, H.

CRIKEY! ― It's co-ordination in temporal planning [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Temporal planning contains aspects of both planning and scheduling. Many temporal planners assume a loose coupling between these two sub-problems in the form of "blackbox" durative actions, where the state of the world is not known during the action's ...

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.
