Flexor tenosynovitis of the hand is often caused by trauma or infection. Gouty tenosynovitis is an uncommon presentation of the condition and is usually misdiagnosed as infection with the patient undergoing surgery.

A cross‐sectional study among 656 Bangladeshi RMG workers found high 12‐month prevalence of lower back (39.5%), neck (33.5%), and ankle (33.5%) disorders. Female gender, prolonged sitting, overtime, and ergonomic risk (REBA) were significantly associated, highlighting urgent need for workplace ergonomic interventions.

Needle tenoscopy of the digital flexor tendon sheath in four horses
Summary Background Tenoscopy, performed under general anaesthesia (GA), remains the gold standard diagnostic modality for assessment of the digital flexor tendon sheath (DFTS). A cadaver study described needle tenoscopy of the DFTS in a standing horse model, but the procedure has not been reported in clinical cases.
