Integrating CSR with Business Strategy: A Tension Management Perspective

open access: yesJournal of Business Ethics, 2020
Integrating corporate social responsibility (CSR) into a for-profit organization’s business activities is fraught with tensions. This paper reports a case study of a construction company, exploring how different tensions emerged to challenge company ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Mechanosensitive Fluorescent Probes to Image Membrane Tension in Mitochondria, Endoplasmic Reticulum, and Lysosomes.

open access: yesJournal of the American Chemical Society, 2019
Measuring forces inside cells is particularly challenging. With the development of quantitative microscopy, fluorophores which allow the measurement of forces became highly desirable.

Can the H0 tension be resolved in extensions to ΛCDM cosmology? [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics, 2018
We wish to investigate whether there is an extension to the base ΛCDM cosmology that can resolve the tension between the Planck observation of the cosmic microwave background anisotropies and the local measurement of the Hubble constant.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Influence of surface tension on two fluids shearing instability

open access: yes, 2014
Using extended Layzer's potential flow model, we investigate the effects of surface tension on the growth of the bubble and spike in combined Rayleigh-Taylor and Kelvin-Helmholtz instability.

Numerical simulation of single droplet dynamics in three-phase flows using ISPH [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this study, a new surface tension formulation for modeling incompressible, immiscible three-phase fluid flows in the context of incompressible smoothed particle hydrodynamics (ISPH) in two dimensions has been proposed.
