Duges caudatus is a Tenuipalpidae and not a Tydeidae (Acari)
Acarologia, 2011 Depending on the publication consulted, Dugès’ caudatus is a mite listed either in the Tenuipalpidae, or in the Tydeidae, or in both. The name varies accordingly and the species is called either Tenuipalpus caudatus (Dugès, 1834) or Tydeus caudatus (Dugès, 1834). The genus Tenuipalpus (Acari: Tenuipalpidae) in Greece
ENTOMOLOGIA HELLENICA, 2017 Knowledge of the Greek mites of the genus Tenuipaipus was limited to the following two species only: T. caudatus (Doges) and T. granati Sayed. Recent studies revealed the presence of another five species namely: T. crassus Andre, T. pacificus Baker, T. punicae Pritchard and Baker, T. rosae Kadzhava and T. zhizhilashviliae Reek.

Florida Entomologist, 2011 [EN] In January 2010, high populations of Raoiella indica were reported for the first time in Colombia attacking coconut, banana, and heliconia plants in the Tayrona National Park. The predatory mite, Amblyseius largoensis, was found associated with R. indica in Los Naranjos, Magdalena.
