Terbium Carbazolate: Synthesis with Terbium Nanoparticles, Structure, and Luminescence

Zerovalent Terbium metal nanoparticles are prepared in the liquid phase by reduction of TbCl 3 with lithium naphthalenide ([LiNaph]) in THF. The as‐prepared Tb(0) nanoparticles are monocrystalline with small and uniform size of 2.8 ± 0.4 nm.

Structural studies and functional engineering of NanX: an anhydro‐sialic acid transporter from Escherichia coli

Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.

A High-Peak-Power Mechanically Q-Switched Tb:LiYF₄ Laser in the Green Spectral Region

Protocol for quantifying miRNA trafficking across the endosomal membrane

BCG vaccination potentiates oxidative phosphorylation in neonatal myeloid‐derived suppressor cells

BCG vaccination enhances oxidative phosphorylation in neonatal MDSCs, impairing their immunosuppressive function. It upregulates electron transport chain genes and mitochondrial activity, increasing ATP and oxygen consumption. MARK4 enhances stress granule formation under oxidative stress and increases tau accumulation

MARK4 (red dots) localizes to stress granules (orange dots) and promotes their formation under oxidative stress by modulating TIA1 (blue dots). MARK4 and TIA1 synergistically increase tau (purple) accumulation, and the reduction of the TIA1 ortholog suppresses neurodegeneration in a fly model.
