Abstract Background Indoleamine 2,3‐dioxygenase 1 (IDO1) is a heme‐containing enzyme that degrades tryptophan (Trp) to kynurenine (Kyn), which suppresses effector T cells and reduces antitumor activity. KHK2455 is a long‐acting selective IDO1 inhibitor that blocks the heme component of the IDO holoenzyme.

Abstract We investigate the ground deformation and source geometry of the 2016 Amatrice earthquake (Central Italy) by exploiting ALOS2 and Sentinel‐1 coseismic differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar (DInSAR) measurements. They reveal two NNW‐SSE striking surface deformation lobes, which could be the effect of two distinct faults or the ...

Building resilient social protection: Lessons from Türkiye's earthquake response
Abstract This article assesses the functioning and disaster response capacity of the Turkish social security system in the aftermath of the Kahramanmaraş‐centred earthquake that struck southeastern Türkiye on 6 February 2023, affecting 11 provinces. Türkiye's social security infrastructure, which was restructured after the 1999 Marmara earthquake, has ...

Authoritarianism and the Emergence of Parallel State Dynamics: Evidence From the Syrian Earthquake
ABSTRACT This article investigates the Syrian regime's strategic manipulation of the February 2023 earthquake to reaffirm its authority and maintain legitimacy. The regime's response to the disaster is analyzed to understand how authoritarian states leverage natural disasters for political gains. It argues that the Assad regime's survival is not merely

Displacements are among the most important engineering response parameters to be monitored during shake‐table testing, with experiments playing a key role in studying the seismic behavior of structures. However, their accurate measurement is not a trivial task when using contact sensors.

Sediment Corrections for Distributed Acoustic Sensing
Abstract On continental margins, sediments cause significant and spatially variable delays in seismic phase arrival times. The strong impedance contrast of the sediment‐bedrock interface causes P‐wave splitting that is clearly seen on distributed acoustic sensing recordings of earthquakes, resulting in additional phase arrivals that must be picked ...
