ABSTRACT Renin–angiotensin–aldosterone system inhibitors are widely prescribed for chronic kidney disease, but their causal effect on kidney function remains uncertain. This study investigated the impact of starting renin–angiotensin blockade on renal function in adults with kidney disease.

C57BL/6 mice from Charles River Laboratories (CR) have enhanced mucosal immune action relative to C57BL/6 mice from Jackson Laboratories (JAX). CR mice are more susceptible to severe DSS‐induced colitis than JAX mice. Co‐housing transfers colitis susceptibility from CR mice to JAX mice.

Abstract Background An ionization chamber and electrometer allow measurement of the absorbed dose to water. A sensitivity comparison between electrometers is essential for quality control, and an efficient method is available to accurately measure the electrometer sensitivity coefficient without using a linear accelerator (linac).

This study presents guanidinium‐ and indole‐functionalized polyphosphoesters as degradable, non‐viral gene delivery vectors. Through precise tuning of charge density and hydrophobicity, these polymers form stable polyplexes with low toxicity. Remarkably, minor structural changes yield up to 200‐fold differences in transfection efficiency, highlighting ...

Mature red blood cells (RBCs) can capture extracellular DNA, with short fragments homologous to cfDNA. This uptake is mediated by apoptotic bodies, which induce RBC oxidative stress, deformation, and accelerated in vivo clearance. The rbcDNA abundance correlates with tumor burden and therapeutic response, highlighting its potential as a liquid biopsy ...

Dynamic Decoration of DNA Scaffolds for High‐Resolution Cancer Cell Subtyping
This study presents a dual‐mode imaging platform that utilizes self‐assembly and disassembly of DNA scaffolds for high‐resolution cancer cell detection. The structural rigidity of DNA scaffolds effectively prevents cellular internalization for over 300 min.

Schematic illustration of mTEM8‐loaded cationic liposome (cLipo‐Man/mTEM8) therapeutics for improved triple‐negative breast cancer immunotherapy. Despite triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) is the most heterogeneous and aggressive subtype of breast cancer, immunotherapy is emerging as a promising therapy.
