FoxO1 signaling in B cell malignancies and its therapeutic targeting

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FoxO1 has context‐specific tumor suppressor or oncogenic character in myeloid and B cell malignancies. This includes tumor‐promoting properties such as stemness maintenance and DNA damage tolerance in acute leukemias, or regulation of cell proliferation and survival, or migration in mature B cell malignancies.

Insights into PI3K/AKT signaling in B cell development and chronic lymphocytic leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This Review explores how the phosphoinositide 3‐kinase and protein kinase B pathway shapes B cell development and drives chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a common blood cancer. It examines how signaling levels affect disease progression, addresses treatment challenges, and introduces novel experimental strategies to improve therapies and patient outcomes.

A synonymous mutation of rs1137070 cause the mice Maoa gene transcription and translation to decrease

open access: yesFrontiers in Molecular Neuroscience
The Monoamine Oxidase-A (MAOA) EcoRV polymorphism (rs1137070) is a unique synonymous mutation (c.1409 T > C) within the MAOA gene, which plays a crucial role in Maoa gene expression and function.

Chylomicrons: Advances in biology, pathology, laboratory testing, and therapeutics

open access: yesClinica Chimica Acta, 2016
The adequate absorption of lipids is essential for all mammalian species due to their inability to synthesize some essential fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins. Chylomicrons (CMs) are large, triglyceride-rich lipoproteins that are produced in intestinal enterocytes in response to fat ingestion, which function to transport the ingested lipids to ...

B cell mechanobiology in health and disease: emerging techniques and insights into therapeutic responses

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
B cells sense external mechanical forces and convert them into biochemical signals through mechanotransduction. Understanding how malignant B cells respond to physical stimuli represents a groundbreaking area of research. This review examines the key mechano‐related molecules and pathways in B lymphocytes, highlights the most relevant techniques to ...

Mechanisms and kinetic assays of aminoacyl‐tRNA synthetases

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Accurate protein synthesis is crucial for life. The key players are aminoacyl‐tRNA synthetases (AARSs), which read the genetic code by pairing cognate amino acids and tRNAs. AARSs establish high amino acid selectivity by employing physicochemical limits in molecular recognition.

Single‐cell insights into the role of T cells in B‐cell malignancies

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Single‐cell technologies have transformed our understanding of T cell–tumor cell interactions in B‐cell malignancies, revealing new T‐cell subsets, functional states, and immune evasion mechanisms. This Review synthesizes these findings, highlighting the roles of T cells in pathogenesis, progression, and therapy response, and underscoring their ...
