Critical Function of PRDM2 in the Neoplastic Growth of Testicular Germ Cell Tumors
Testicular germ cell tumors (TGCTs) derive from primordial germ cells. Their maturation is blocked at different stages, reflecting histological tumor subtypes.

The international prognostic index (IPI)‐driven trial inclusion criteria may have contributed to the failure of some of the first‐line trials in large B‐cell lymphoma (LBCL). GLA and LYSA collaborated to improve prognostic stratification in LBCL by analyzing data from trial cohorts and proposed the smIPI.

Neoangiogenesis in the dynamics of testicular seminoma progression
Testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT) is a group of neoplasms which develop from the germ cell epithelium and account 94-96% of all testicular tumors. Seminoma is the most common testicular germ cell neoplasm and accounts for about 50% of all TGCT.There is ...

Testicular cancer and cryptorchidism [PDF]
The failure of testicular descent or cryptorchidism is the most common defect in newborn boys. The descent of the testes during development is controlled by insulin-like 3 peptide and steroid hormones produced in testicular Leydig cells, as well as by ...

Metastatic Testicular Germ Cell Tumor or a Chemoresponsive Liver Hemangioma? [PDF]
Testicular germ cell tumors are the most common solid organ malignancy in young adult men. The presence of non-pulmonary visceral metastasis is an independent factor that places such patients into the higher risk group.

Frequent PD-L1 expression in testicular germ cell tumors
Background:Many testicular germ cell cancers are curable despite metastatic disease, but about 10–15% of patients fail cisplatin-based first-line treatment. Immunotherapy is considered as additional treatment approach for these patients.

Nuclear destabilisation – a possible genesis of cancer?
ABSTRACT This review examines the increasingly prominent role of mechanics within cancer formation and progression. The extremely varied and contradictory genetic landscape of cancer is in stark contrast to the seemingly universal mechanical characteristics of cancer cells and their tumour microenvironment, and mechanics may be a principal unifying ...

This study confirmed that hypomethylation‐induced upregulation of CD98 promoted ESCC cell proliferation by regulating the cell cycle and was correlated with poorer overall survival of ESCC patients. Combined panels of immunohistochemistry (CD98 and P53) are recommended for accurate diagnosis of esophageal precancerous lesions.

Role of microRNAs in mammalian spermatogenesis and testicular germ cell tumors.
microRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of small endogenous RNAs, 19-25 nucleotides in size, which play a role in the regulation of gene expression at transcriptional and post-transcriptional levels.
