Evolving Morphological changes of testis in UDT patients

open access: yesIranian Journal of Pediatric Surgery, 2016
Introduction: Undescended testis is a common problem in children. Cryptorchid testis is frequently accompanied by gross morphologic changes with regard to the size and shape of the testis, various degree of detachment between the epididymis and testis ...

Immunological microenvironment in the testis

open access: yesReproductive Medicine and Biology, 2020
Background The testis is specific in that it produces haploid germ cells of which autoantigens newly appear long after the neonatal immune tolerance. Under normal condition, these autoantigens are protected by the blood‐testis barrier formed by Sertoli ...

Analysis and Evaluation of Nutritional Composition of Farmed Male Pufferfish (Takifugu Obscurus)

open access: yesSHS Web of Conferences, 2014
The nutritional compositions of the main tissues (meat, testis and liver) of farmed Takifugu obscures were investigated. All tissues reported in this study showed high amounts of crude protein in meat (18.44±0.11 g/100g) and testis (17.15±0.15 g/100g ...

Multi‐Tissue Genetic Regulation of RNA Editing in Pigs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents the first multi‐tissue map of RNA editing and its genetic regulation in pigs. By integrating RNA editing profiles, edQTL mapping, GWAS, and cross‐species comparisons, this work establishes RNA editing as a distinct regulatory layer linking genetic variation to complex traits, highlighting its functional and evolutionary significance.
