Mitochondrial Genome Characteristics and Phylogenetic Analysis of Eotetranychus kankitus on Pomelo and Tea Plants [PDF]

open access: yesChaye kexue
Eotetranychus kankitus is an agricultural pest mite that damages many crops. Conducting mitochondrial genome analysis can clarify its structural characteristics and the phylogenetic relationships among species in the family of Tetranychidae species.

Characterization of the Omnivorous Lygus lineolaris Diet in a Strawberry Field by Metataxonomy

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 1, January 2026.
This study employs metataxonomy to reveal the extensive omnivorous diet of Lygus lineolaris in a strawberry field, identifying 475 host taxa and confirming active ingestion across plant and prey sources. We introduce a novel coefficient of omnivory, demonstrating the species' strong herbivorous bias while highlighting its dietary flexibility and ...

A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF KETOENOLS AND THEIR RESISTANCE MECHANISM ON PHYTOPHAGOUS MITES OF THE TETRANYCHIDAE FAMILY

open access: yesTropical and Subtropical Agroecosystems
Background. Ketoenol acaricides exert their action by inhibiting Acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC). These acaricides have been highly effective for the management of phytophagous mites, however, their intensive use has generated resistant populations, which ...

Ocorrência e distribuição vertical de ácaro-vermelho em algodoeiro herbáceo.

open access: yesAgro@mbiente On-line, 2014

Susceptibility to cyflumetofen in populations of the citrus leprosis mite, Brevipalpus yothersi, from Brazilian citrus orchards

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 1, Page 1046-1056, January 2026.
Brevipalpus yothersi, the vector of citrus leprosis virus, showed high susceptibility to cyflumetofen. Its low resistance suggests it is effective, but should be rotated with other acaricides with different modes‐of‐action for sustainable management.

Oviposition of Panonychus ulmi (Koch, 1936) (Acari: Tetranychidae) in response of conspecific and heterospecific mites cues

open access: yesEntomological Communications
This study aimed to assess oviposition of Panonychus ulmi (Koch, 1936) (Acari: Tetranychidae) in response of conspecific and heterospecific mites cues on apple trees (Malus domestica Borkh: Rosaceae). The oviposition of P.
