Tolerance to Phosphorus Deficiency Improves Seed Phytic Acid‐to‐Iron Molar Ratios in Common Bean
ABSTRACT Although significant advances have been achieved in the biofortification of common beans to overcome deficiencies in Zinc (Zn) and iron (Fe), the mechanisms involved remain poorly understood. We thus explored the relationships between phosphorus nutrition and Zn and Fe accumulation in four bean genotypes (Edar, Nizok, Colorado and Chimbolos ...

Background and Purpose EZH2 (enhancer of zeste homologue 2) inhibitors are an emerging class of drugs that target epigenetic regulation. However, their efficacy in solid tumours has been limited, partly due to drug‐induced upregulation of fatty acid synthesis.

A Cationic Block Co‐Polymer for Gene Delivery in the Posterior Segment of the Eye
ABSTRACT Diseases of the back of the eye such as neovascular age‐related macular degeneration (nAMD) are vision threatening and treatment is burdensome for patients, often requiring ocular injections every other month. Injection risks and logistics lower patient compliance; however, even patients receiving optimal treatment can deteriorate.

Phytoremediation of Wastewater From Oil Well Drilling: Potential of Different Plant Species
Purple fountain grass (Cenchrus setaceus “Rubrum”) is a promising plant for using in constructed wetlands treating complex oil drilling effluents. ABSTRACT This study evaluated the removal of contaminants present in wastewater from oil well drilling in the presence of three plant species: water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes), cattail (Typha ...

MicroRNA 15a and 16 Regulate Proteostasis in Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer
Overexpression of microRNA15a/16 slows rates of tumor growth and protein synthesis in cultured lung cancer cells. These co‐transcribed miRNAs target a wide array of anabolic and pro‐tumor processes, indicating their central role in regulating lung cancer cellular anabolism. ABSTRACT Aberrant anabolic activity is critical to tumor biology; however, much
