Automated Classification of Unstructured Bilingual Software Bug Reports: An Industrial Case Study Research

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
Software bug report classification is a critical process to understand the nature, implications, and causes of software failures. Furthermore, classification enables a fast and appropriate reaction to software bugs. However, for large-scale projects, one

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Text categorization and similarity analysis: similarity measure, literature review [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Document classification and provenance has become an important area of computer science as the amount of digital information is growing significantly. Organisations are storing documents on computers rather than in paper form.

Learning-Free Text Categorization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
In this paper, we report on the fusion of simple retrieval strategies with thesaural resources in order to perform large-scale text categorization tasks. Unlike most related systems, which rely on training data in order to infer text-to-concept relationships, our approach can be applied with any controlled vocabulary and does not use any training data.

Authorship Identification of Electronic Texts

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
Electronic text stylometry is concerned with analyzing the writing styles of input electronic texts to extract information about their authors. For example, such extracted data could be the authors’ identity or other aspects, such as their gender ...

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.

Detection of circulating tumor DNA in colorectal cancer patients using a methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Effective Use of Word Order for Text Categorization with Convolutional Neural Networks

open access: yes, 2015
Convolutional neural network (CNN) is a neural network that can make use of the internal structure of data such as the 2D structure of image data. This paper studies CNN on text categorization to exploit the 1D structure (namely, word order) of text data
