Textile Industry Wastewaters Treatment
Effective water and waste management strategies enable us to decrease water consumption and pollution load of wastewaters. Typical examples of low-waste technologies are lanolin recovery in wool scouring, hydroxide recovery in cotton mercerizing, recovery of synthetic sizes and reuse of dye baths. Wastewaters are treated by a sequence of

Nanoplastics and Neurodegeneration: A Roadmap From Mechanism to Causation
Nanoplastics are pervasive environmental contaminants with potentially profound implications for human health. Emerging evidence suggests a possible link between nanoplastic exposure and neurodegeneration, a key driver of ageing and dementia, yet causality remains unresolved.

Electrochemical treatment of textile wastewater
The treatment of textile wastewater, containing a high concentration of Cl- ion, by an electrochemical method using Ti/RuO2, Ti/Pt and Ti/Pt/Ir electrodes is investigated. All three anodes proved to be very effective in direct or indirect oxidation of organics present in the wastewater. After 60 min of electrolysis at 6 A/dm2, COD was reduced by 85-92%
