Metasurface‐Enabled Active‐Like Passive Radar

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A programmable space‐time‐coding metasurface embeds distinct spatiotemporal tags into ambient wireless signals, allowing passive radar to operate in an active‐like manner. By enabling code‐correlated reconstruction under interference, the approach supports robust real‐time UAV tracking in complex environments and points to intelligent, low‐power ...

Thallium Toxicity: Complexities of Diagnosis and Management

open access: yes, 2017
Introduction: Thallium is a heavy metal, best known as a rodenticide that is occasionally involved in intentional or accidental poisonings. On average, one case of thallium toxicity is reported each year.

Mechanism‐Informed Machine Learning Enables Discovery of Oncolytic Peptides for Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
MISPOP integrates ensemble learning with membrane‐active physicochemical priors to identify Dermaseptin‐S9, a natural oncolytic peptide that disrupts tumor membranes, triggers immunogenic cell death, and shows strong antitumor activity. The study illustrates a mechanism‐informed route from peptide sequence data to cancer immunotherapy leads.

Thallium-201 scintigraphy after intravenous infusion of adenosine compared with exercise thallium testing in the diagnosis of coronary artery disease

open access: yes, 1991
Adenosine is an endogenously produced compound that has significant effects as a coronary and systemic vasodilator. Previous studies suggest that intravenous infusion of adenosine, coupled with thallium-201 scintigraphy, may have specific value as a ...

Ultrafast Dynamics of Spin Current and Electron Temperature in Spintronic Terahertz Emitters

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work quantifies optical‐pump‐induced THz transmission variations to reveal electron and lattice temperature dynamics and presents time‐resolved THz spectral maps for sub‐picosecond analysis. A 63 ± 8 fs time lag between THz emission and laser excitation is identified, serving as an intrinsic parameter limiting the upper frequency of spintronic THz

Thallium Toxicity: Mechanisms of Action, Available Therapies, and Experimental Models

open access: yesFuture Pharmacology
Thallium (Tl) is a non-essential and highly toxic heavy metal capable of replacing potassium (K+) in biological systems, leading to mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress, and inhibition of protein synthesis.

Standard aqueous potentials for the {thallium amalgam|thallium(I) iodide} electrode, and thermodynamic solubility product of thallium(I) iodide at temperatures from 298.15 K to 328.15 K

open access: yes, 1993
The std. potential E°{TlI + e- = Tl(in TlxHg1-x) + I-} of the {thallium-amalgam|thallium(I) iodide} electrode was detd. from electromotive-force measurements of the double cell: Ag|AgI|KI(aq)|TlI|TlxHg1-x|TlCl|KCl(aq)|AgCl|Ag.

SSR4 sustains Tertiary Lymphoid Structures by Regulation Quality Control of N‐linked Glycosylation During B‐cell Differentiation Into Plasmacyte in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SSR4, a TRAP component induced in B cells, governs BAFFR N‐glycosylation via DDOST to sustain NF‐κB signaling, B‐cell differentiation, and TLS maturation. Its loss impairs anti‐tumor immunity, while overexpression improves antibody glycosylation and ADCC, revealing a critical regulator for cancer immunotherapy.

Determination of trace thallium by flow injection combined with graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometer based on immobilized -dimethylaminobenzylidenerhodanine separation and preconcentration

open access: yesJournal of Chemical Research
The novelty of immobilized p -dimethylaminobenzylidenerhodanine is successfully prepared by using TiO 2 -based nanoparticles as the carrier. It is applied to preconcentrate and separate trace thallium and detect by flow injection combined with graphite ...
