Dynamic decoupling control method for PMSM drive with cross-coupling inductances

2017 IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2017
This paper proposes a decoupling control method for high-performance drive of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs). The conventional decoupling schemes proposed for removing coupling effects on d-q current regulation have the limited performance because the cross-coupling inductances caused by asymmetric structure and saturation are not ...

Induction method of measuring dynamic magnetostriction

Soviet Physics Journal, 1977
The method presented in this paper for measuring dynamic magnetostriction gives an idea of the value of the magnetostriction and the shape of its curve as well as its rate of change. It also permits oscillograms to be made of the magnetostriction hysteresis loop as a function of the magnetization field strength and induction.

A dynamic rule-induction method for classification in data mining

Journal of Management Analytics, 2015
Rule induction (RI) produces classifiers containing simple yet effective ‘If–Then' rules for decision makers. RI algorithms normally based on PRISM suffer from a few drawbacks mainly related to rule pruning and rule-sharing items (attribute values) in the training data instances.

Analytical evaluation of inductances for induction machine with dynamic eccentricity using MWFA and FE methods

2013 9th IEEE International Symposium on Diagnostics for Electric Machines, Power Electronics and Drives (SDEMPED), 2013
An analytical procedure for computing the inductances of an induction machine in presence of dynamic eccentricity fault is presented. The proposed method is based on the modified winding function approach and takes into consideration harmonics in the winding and the inverse air-gap functions.

High dynamic control of induction motor with nonlinear method

Proceedings of the 1996 IEEE IECON. 22nd International Conference on Industrial Electronics, Control, and Instrumentation, 2002
High dynamic performance control of AC motor is one of the aims that the specialists desire to obtain in the field of automatic motion control, which is improved day by day with the continuous developments in control theory and technology. In this paper, nonlinear and feedback linearization theory is used and then applied in motor drive motion control.

Dynamic Aggregation Method of Induction Motors Based on Coherent Characteristics

Advanced Materials Research, 2014
Parameters of induction motors have crucial effects on power system simulation. This paper proposes a dynamic aggregation method of induction motors. In this method, firstly, starting off the electromechanical models of induction motors, taking the coefficients of the electromechanical equations and steady state slips of motors as the characteristic ...

A method for dynamic simulation of air-gap eccentricity in induction machines

IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 1996
In this paper, a method is proposed which enables the simulation of the air-gap eccentricity in induction machines. The method is based on the coupled magnetic circuit approach. The model is derived by means of winding functions, and no symmetry in windings layout is assumed.

Dynamic power on/off method for 3D NoCs with wireless inductive-coupling links

2013 IEEE COOL Chips XVI, 2013
Network-on-Chips (NoCs) with wireless inductive coupling have been utilized in real heterogeneous multicore systems. Although the inductive-coupling itself is energy-efficient (e.g., 0.14pJ per bit [1]), inductors continuously consume a certain amount of power, regardless of packet transfers.

Power-Efficient Control of an Induction Motor: Methods of Increasing Its Dynamics

Russian Electrical Engineering, 2019
To improve the efficiency of an electric drive system under low speed conditions, a control strategy optimized for maximal torque per ampere (MTPA) is used in the vector control system of an induction motor. MTPA is a control method of motor excitation that significantly reduces the torsion torque dynamics due to the influence of the rotor time ...

A method for dynamic simulation and detection of air-gap eccentricity in induction machines

IAS '95. Conference Record of the 1995 IEEE Industry Applications Conference Thirtieth IAS Annual Meeting, 2002
In this paper a method is proposed which enables the detection of the air-gap eccentricity in induction machines at an early stage. It is shown that by proper modeling of the induction motor it is possible to detect the effect of eccentricity on the machine line currents, whether the machine is running off a sinusoidal supply or a converter. The effect
