A dynamic impedance matching method for acoustic systems based on variable inductance

Review of Scientific Instruments
In the context of ultrasonic cutting, it is observed that the impedance characteristics of the acoustic system undergo a transformation as a consequence of load variation and the elevated temperature of the transducer, consequently giving rise to impedance mismatch issues, which in turn result in a reduction in system stability and machining efficiency.

Dynamic parameters identification method for inductively coupled power transfer system

2010 IEEE International Conference on Sustainable Energy Technologies (ICSET), 2010
In inductively coupled power transfer (ICPT) system, due to load and coupling parameters dynamic variation, primary resonant system parameters often drift from inherent operating point and lead to drastic decrease of power transfer capability and efficiency. In order to identify dynamically variation of system parameters, this paper put forwards system

Induction motor modelling in dynamic power system studies-a comparison of two methods

2021 Southern African Universities Power Engineering Conference/Robotics and Mechatronics/Pattern Recognition Association of South Africa (SAUPEC/RobMech/PRASA), 2021
The purpose of this study is to accurately characterize the electrical and mechanical parameters of an induction motor. It is important to accurately characterize induction motors for motor bus transfer studies to be performed on systems to determine if the system can safely undergo such a transfer should a fault occur at the main supply and the motor ...

Magnetising-field saturation and dynamic behaviour of induction machines. Part 1: Improved calculation method for induction-machine dynamics

IEE Proceedings B Electric Power Applications, 1983
It is shown that the classical induction-machine model does not correctly take into account the actual saturation effects of the magnetising field in situations different from sinusoidal supply/steady state conditions. An improved set of stationary equations is derived, making more accurate allowances for the magnetising-field saturation.

A Novel Method of Multistage Dynamic Braking of Three-Phase Induction Motors

IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 1984
An effective braking system suitable for three-phase induction motor drives is discussed. Braking is achieved in four stages using an electronic switching circuit. Initially, a single capacitor is connected across two of the motor terminals allowing single-phase self-excitation.

A dynamic tuning method utilizing inductor paralleled with load for inductive power transfer

2018 IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2018
The detuning of inductive power transfer (IPT) system which is usually caused by the component tolerance and aging of the inductors and capacitors can decrease the system efficiency. In order to tune the receiver circuit of IPT system, an inductor is paralleled with a diode full-bridge rectifier cascaded with a Buck converter and load serving as a ...

Magnetizing Curve Representation Methods In Digital Simulation Of Induction Macidne Dynamics

International Journal of Modelling and Simulation, 1990
Two nonlinear functions are present in the modified saturated induction machine model, namely, magnetizing flux and dynamic inductance. Different interpolation and approximation methods for these functions are considered. The methods are compared with regard to the accuracy of digital simulation results and computer CPU time ...

Dynamic fuzzy control method and its application to positioning of induction motor

Proceedings of 1995 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems. The International Joint Conference of the Fourth IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and The Second International Fuzzy Engineering Symposium, 2002
A fuzzy control method incorporating a time series concept is presented and applied to the positioning of an induction motor with genetic algorithm (GA) tuning. The method is consisted of a fuzzy inference management part and several fuzzy inference groups for various situations based on virtual paging method of fuzzy inference. >

NONLINEAR OBSERVER FOR INDUCTION MOTOR TO IMPROVE EFFICIENCY AND DYNAMIC STABILITY ANALYSIS IN FOC METHOD

Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2012
Control of induction motor due to its nonlinear property is one of the most popular research topics recently. Vector control based algorithms which are used for proper functioning estimate the rotor speed and magnetic flux. In many applications, flux and speed are estimated without using sensors.

Evaluation of Various Static and Dynamic Modeling Methods to Predict Clinical CYP3A Induction Using In Vitro CYP3A4 mRNA Induction Data

Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics, 2013
Several drug-drug interaction (DDI) prediction models were evaluated for their ability to identify drugs with cytochrome P450 (CYP)3A induction liability based on in vitro mRNA data. The drug interaction magnitudes of CYP3A substrates from 28 clinical trials were predicted using (i) correlation approaches (ratio of the in vivo peak plasma concentration
