On‐Demand Deconstructable Thermosets Through Cleavable Comonomer and Thermolatent Base Synergy

Thermosets, valued for their chemical and mechanical properties, resist recycling due to their cross‐linked structure. Weak bonds via comonomers enable degradability, but diffusion limits effectiveness. We incorporate thermolatent bases before polymerization (thermal or 3D‐VAT printing).

Polymer Brushes Govern Defect‐Selective Oxidative Etching of Penta‐Twinned Gold Nanorods

Polymer brushes act as active interfacial regulators of oxidative etching, directing it to crystallographic defects. In penta‐twinned gold nanorods, defect–ligand interplay localizes etching to defect regions and induces surface corrugations on the long nanorod sides. Boosting Photocatalytic Overall Water Splitting Activity of Phosphorene Through Five‐Coordinate Passivation Enabled by Carbene Addition

We report selective five‐coordinate passivation of phosphorene via P═C double bonds using a facile one‐step photochemical reaction via carbene addition. The ambient stability of functionalized phosphorene has been substantially improved compared to the pristine phosphorene.
