Dual acellular subnormothermic machine perfusion for enhanced uterus preservation in a swine model

Monitoring Mitochondrial Function With High‐Resolution Respirometry During Ex‐Situ Heart Perfusion

Normothermic ESHP preserves mitochondrial respiratory function over 6 h in a porcine model (n = 6): OXPHOS capacities across NADH‐, fatty‐acid‐, and succinate‐linked pathways remain stable, with reduced cytochrome‐c control efficiency indicating improved outer‐membrane integrity. HRR provides a rapid, actionable readout for organ assessment.

Experimental Extracorporeal Circulation System: A Pilot Study in Rats

A miniature extracorporeal circulation (ECC) system was developed for reproducible rodent studies. This system incorporates an integrated heat exchanger and a silicone membrane oxygenator within a double‐lumen circuit, resulting in an ultralow priming volume of < 1.5 mL.

Progress Toward a Portable Artificial Lung: A Systematic Review

Eight portable respiratory assist devices were identified. The CE‐marked MobyBox and the FDA‐approved Breethe OXY‐1 system are in clinical use. The Anti‐Inflammatory Effect of Normothermic Machine Perfused Human Kidneys on Monocyte‐Derived Dendritic Cells

The immunogenicity of donor kidneys on NMP can be studied using monocyte‐derived dendritic cells.
